On January 21st, 2018 our step-father, Scott Musson, took his own life unexpectedly. His wife was left widowed and our youngest sister without someone to call, "Dad."
Our mother is the sweetest, strongest, most hardworking person we know. She takes on more than she should every single day. Our mom is concerned with everyone else's needs before her own. Our fun-loving youngest (half) sister was adopted by Scott. The three of them did almost everything together. This woman and our baby sister deserve the world and need a little help right now.
Since this tragedy was not anticipated, our mother is coming out a widow in financial shambles. This is due to the fact that nothing was left behind for anyone, and debt had been accumulated for some time before the event. Losing our step-dad's income leaves our mother unable to afford the cost of living right now.
Our mom already works two jobs, one of them being an overnight position. Having time to gain extra income is virtually impossible while balancing two jobs and four children. We want our mom to be able to deal with this hardship without having to worry about bills. Getting back on her feet financially should not be as big of a stress for her as it is becoming.
Anything that is given will go straight to our mom and our family's expenses. Any amount will help and is appreciated more than you know.
