On July 7, 2020 Donte ended his battle with the CoronaVirus.
The last words I heard from him was on July 1, 2020 when he said with a very faint voice "Corona" and "Pray For Me", he was not supposed to be talking at that time because he was fitted with a breathing mask to help him breathe. But, I am thankful that he reached out to me and if you know Donte and my relationship in high school, you would know that this call was not even shocking.
Donte was a member of Ever Forward Club for all 4 of his years at San Lorenzo High. After graduating he continued to volunteer at our 24 Hour Relay Challenge worked with us to try and raise money to expand our work in the Tracy area.
I am glad that I had the pleasure of working with him as a member of The Ever Forward Club and for his hard work and dedication.
