Support for Family of Craig McDonald

On June 28th, the McDonald's 20th wedding anniversary, Gwen, Price and Ali had to unexpectedly say goodbye to Craig after his courageous and sudden battle with cancer.
Within just 8 weeks, Craig went through many medical crises that all began with just an abnormal blood test.
While on vacation in South Carolina, Craig was taken via ambulance to the ER in severe pain. There he underwent major surgery and 20+ days in this out-of-state hospital receiving extensive medical care in the ICU on a ventilator. After many struggles, he was able to be stabilized; this is where they were notified of his cancer diagnosis.
Once Craig stabilized and was able to get back home, it was just 2 days before Craig was rushed back to the ER and transported via Life Flight to Pittsburgh, where he underwent another emergency surgery. Sadly, Craig passed away just a day later at the age of 58.
We are working to raise funds to help Gwen and the kids after this sudden loss. They will be facing many challenges, including the immense medical expenses, the cost of funeral services and everyday living expenses as they grieve and adjust to life without him. They have lost not just his presence and love but also his income and hard work at the home.
Craig was a generous, thoughtful man that always looked out for those in need. He worked hard for his family, running his own business, which he was incredibly proud of! I know Craigs main concern would be for his family to be surrounded with love and support.
It is in these times of loss and sadness when people come together to support the ones we care for. Something that Craig has done for my family on more than one occasion. I only want to help give back to this man with a huge heart! Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Gwen & Craig have worked in the food industry for several years and have been blessed with many meals at this time.
Please keep Gwen, Price and Ali in your thoughts and prayers.
Rest Easy, My Friend! You fought the good fight!
