I’m setting up this fundraiser for a dear friend. It has been an extremely hard few years for their entire family. With the economy being what it is, they have come to face some very hard times, as I’m sure we all have. Their most current trial has her husband facing a mass in his brain. He is scheduled to have brain surgery on June 25th which will have him in the ICU for 2-3 days afterwards, followed by another 5-day stay after that.

Not only have finances been extremely tight for them, but the hospital bills they expect to have from all the tests and surgeries will have them facing even more financial insecurity. If you even have $5 to spare, it all adds up. In these trying times that we’re all facing, it is now more than ever that support from family, friends, the community as a whole is imperative.
