My spouse was a park ranger, and now their whole career had been impacted. Later on, my job was impacted as well. My spouse was cut off from all family after coming out. I had endometriosis surgery with severe complications which resulted in being out of work for months versus the intended 1-2 weeks. My spouse has been in and out of the hospital as well for medical issues which was originally thought to be gallbladder or liver. Our only car has broken down. Our home AC needs urgently repaired. We received a disconnect notice for our water. We need groceries and to catch up on monthly bills. We are trying so hard to stay afloat, and to not drown. After starting new jobs, we are behind and need assistance to get back to shore. We are sincerely appreciative and so grateful for the support and kindness. We are both working, picking up overtime when able, and picking up side jobs on weekends.
