My son-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma in August 2025. Since then, he has bravely continued working full time while undergoing chemotherapy, determined to provide for his family. My daughter, who had been babysitting from home, had to stop due to the risks that chemo poses around young children and the risk of illness to her husband. They were managing financially before the diagnosis, but everything changed so quickly. Last week, my son-in-law was hospitalized after catching a virus, forcing him to miss work and making it even harder for them to keep their heads above water, even with help from our family.
The money raised will go directly toward their essential needs—utilities, food, gas for their vehicles, and everyday expenses. These are things that can’t wait, and every bit of support will help them focus on what matters most: getting through treatment and caring for their children. They have about 45 days of chemo and additional tests left before they find out if the treatment has worked. It’s a stressful and exhausting time, but they are doing everything they can to keep life as normal as possible for their kids, who still have smiles on their faces thanks to their parents’ strength and love.
This is a family who will do anything to help anyone. My daughter and son-in-law are both incredibly proud and have always been there for others. It pains me to see them struggle so much after coming so far. I’m reaching out for help so they can finish this journey without the added burden of financial stress. Any support you can give will mean the world to them and help them focus on healing and hope.
