My name is Justin, and I'm raising funds to help my brother-in-law after an unimaginable accident.

While driving through a rain storm toward Cedar City, his work truck was struck by lightning and caught fire. The fire spread so quickly that the truck, along with thousands of dollars' worth of construction tools inside, was completely destroyed. Everything was burned, melted, or beyond repair.

Unfortunately, insurance will not cover what they still owe on the truck, and the tools are not covered either. This has left them facing more than $10,000 in losses.

My sister and her husband are a hardworking, low-income family who were already doing everything they could to make ends meet. This loss isn't just about replacing a vehicle, it's about replacing the tools my brother-in-law depends on every day to provide for his family. Without them, earning an income becomes incredibly difficult.

To put this into perspective, being struck by lightning while inside a moving vehicle is estimated to be about a 1 in 100 million occurrence. It was a devastating event that no one could have prepared for.

One moment that really touched our family was my nephew. He has been saving for a long time to buy his dream dirt bike, but after seeing what happened to his dad, he brought all of his savings and offered every dollar to help replace the lost tools.

If you're able to give, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to our family. If you can't donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would be an incredible help.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this difficult time.
