While my friend and her boyfriend were out taking a walk with her children in Williamsburg, two men on a motor bike drove by and let off gun shots. Both my friend and her boyfriend ran for cover at a nearby store. What they didn’t realize was that their 7 month old baby girl was fatally shot in the head. Once they realized, they panicked and the dad rushed the baby girl to the hospital, but by the time they arrived, the baby was lifeless and there was nothing that could be done.

This unimaginable tragedy has left my friend and her family heartbroken and struggling to cope with their loss. On top of their grief, they are now facing the overwhelming costs of arranging a funeral for their precious baby girl. The funds raised will go towards the baby’s funeral, including decorations, the casket, clothing, and the headstone. Some of the money will also help my friend and her partner get back on their feet, as they were already facing financial hardship before this tragedy.
