Support for Family After Tragic Loss of Father

On Wednesday October 9th, around 5:30am my father suffered an aneurysm followed by multiple heart attacks. He was taken to the hospital where his heart stopped beating multiple times, putting him into cardiac arrest. He was kept on a ventilator and life support until Thursday October 10th where we had to make the very hard decision to remove him from all life support, after being told he was declared brain dead due to everything that he suffered from. He passed away at the age of 54.

My father owned his own business that is in a lot of debt. My brother and my sisters boyfriend worked for him, who live with us. They are both now out of jobs. The debt now falls on my mother’s shoulders. My mother currently does not have a job, which leaves my sister and I being the only ones with income.

The money will be used to get my father cremated, cover medical bills, help us pay the rent, and get us back on our feet.

My father was the most selfless loving person I know and the backbone to our family. We need to work together more than we ever have. He was the best dad, husband, friend, etc. He always took care of everyone he could. My mother and father are highschool sweethearts and this has broken her heart beyond repair.

These times are very difficult for my family and I. Anything helps, and we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
