My stepdad and his father meant the world to our family and to everyone who knew them. My stepdad was a loving father who always put his family first. He worked hard, cared deeply for those around him, and was the kind of person people could count on whenever they needed help or support. His father shared those same values. He was someone our family looked up to for guidance, strength, and wisdom, and he helped bring our family together with his love and kindness.

Tragically, both of their lives were taken from us in a brutal act of violence. This heartbreaking loss has left our family devastated and struggling to process something so unimaginable. They leave behind a grieving family and two young children, just 9 and 13 years old, who are now facing life without their father and grandfather. No child should have to experience this kind of loss.
