On a tragic day in Orange, New Jersey, a devastating house fire took the lives of Frantzia and Poujanee, two beloved daughters, sisters, and mothers. Both women died as heroes, saving their disabled father from the flames. The loss has left their mother in shock and heartbreak, while their father remains hospitalized, fighting to recover. Frantzia, a proud Marine and dedicated X-Ray technician at a local hospital, was known for her strength, compassion, and unwavering love for her family. Poujanee, lovingly known as PJ, was the creative force behind Brown Eyes magazine, touching many lives with her talent and vision. Both sisters were deeply close to their parents and devoted to their children, each leaving behind a child who now faces life without their mother.
The family is now struggling to cover funeral expenses, provide for the children left behind, and rebuild their home from the ashes. It has been brought to my attention that I have not made it clear what my relationship as the organizer is. Irmisse and Frantz are my Aunt and Uncle and their children Frantzia and PJ are my cousins.
The plan, first and foremost, is to help pay for the unexpected costs of the funerals for both girls. I can only imagine what other challenges will be faced by my Aunt, being that her husband is in the hospital and has been incapacitated from Alzheimer's and now the damage from the fire. They have no home at the moment. This is all still fresh and I am waiting to see what else they will be needing.
I want to stress that every single dime of this fundraiser will be transferred to my Aunt Irmisse's bank account to help defray these considerable costs that are coming.
She has been overwhelmed with this whole situation and I can't fathom how she's going to cope with witnessing both of her only children perishing in their home.
Her granddaughter, who is in the Navy, just flew in from Japan yesterday and I plan on her and I and other family helping our Aunt with arrangements and anything else that may come up.
