Support for Family After Tragic Accident

On August 21st, my best friend's family had a horrific thing affect them. Her spouse was attacked while walking home through Centennial Park, in Victoria BC. He was assaulted with a knife and both of his wrists were slashed open and stabbed multiple times. Due to these injuries he is unable to work and my bestfriend is also home having to tend to his medical needs. They have two little girls to support and times are getting tough. So I am reaching out to our community in hopes to give them just a little boost to help with costs for medicine, transportation to and from the hospital and maybe just take a little weight off their families back with rent, after such a traumatic and unavoidable thing that has victimized them all.
