I’ve known him since I was 13 years old, and he became like family to me. I had the honor of bringing his nephew—my son—into the world, and over the years, I saw firsthand what a devoted father, husband, and friend he was. He grew up without his own dad due to a sudden heart attack, and he made it his mission to be present and loving for his own children.

About two weeks ago, he was in a tragic car accident. After a week and a half in the hospital, he finally woke up and was sent home. We all thought he was in the clear, so his passing was so sudden and so unexpected. The loss is incredibly tragic and sad, leaving a huge void in the lives of everyone who loved him, especially his wife and two small children.

Now, his family is facing unimaginable challenges. The sudden loss of their provider and protector means they are struggling to cover funeral costs, child care, therapy, basic needs, utilities, rent, and more. I am doing everything I can to support them, but they need help from our community to get through this difficult time.
