Support for Family After Son's Seizures

Hey everyone, Mark is on his way to recovery and we appreciate all of you being so giving and caring. So far, we have reached 26% of our goal! People are so kind. Please continue to share!

We are optimistic that Mark will be out of the hospital soon and back to doing the things he loves!

Day 2 of steroids. Hopefully that takes out all the residual inflammation that is causing a few little seizures. Praying for a peaceful day of rest and healing, and that the side effects of the disrupted sleep pattern, etc won't bother him. Good news: Mark is sleeping better finally...

UPDATE: Tube has been removed! Praying for continued healing of brain and body. Mark needs his immune system to keep ramping up and taking charge! He's still fighting. Let's fight with him!

Prayer Warriors! They're hoping to extubate Mark today around noon! Let's pray for continued rest and healing for Mark's brain and body.

My sister and her husband woke up to hearing their 15-year-old son thrashing around in his room early Wednesday morning. As they ran in to see what was wrong, he was having a seizure. They called 911; he was life-flighted to Primary Children's Care Hospital and intubated and sedated. He woke up a few days later.

But, he suffered another setback seizure Friday afternoon and is back in the ICU. The doctors are still hoping to pinpoint what it is exactly. This family is going to need all the help they can get.
