One of my dear clients had to endure the worst Thanksgiving news; the loss of her grandchildren to this complete devastation.
I am setting up this go fund me to help the family with this tragedy.
The children's grandmother, Susan, will be handling the funds for the family.
I am raising funds for the Kannin family that was involved in the horrific house fire in Kenosha last night.
A parent's worst nightmare happened, and the children did not make it.
Rylee, Connor, and Alena were some amazing kids. They were brilliant and had so much to give to this world. As a community, I'm hoping we can help this family out in this time of need.
The family could use all the support in the world as they have lost everything. The donations will go to the children's funerals.
KENOSHA, Wis. — A tragic late-night fire claimed the lives of two young brothers and critically injured their sister after a multi-family apartment building went up in flames Thursday night.
At approximately 10:39 PM, the Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha Fire Department responded to multiple 911 calls reporting heavy black smoke coming from a residence in the 5200 block of 43rd Avenue. Arriving crews found the building heavily involved, with reports of children and an adult still inside.
Firefighters from multiple surrounding communities were called in to assist as the fire spread rapidly through the structure and residents remained unaccounted for. Crews battled heavy flames, smoke conditions, and fire extending through the walls as they searched the building.
Despite rescue efforts, a 10-year-old boy and his 9-year-old brother were found deceased inside the structure. Their 7-year-old sister was airlifted by Flight-For-Life with critical injuries. Their father was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation. Additional residents were treated on scene, and several families were displaced.
The Disaster Response Team responded to assist those displaced. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and the Medical Examiner’s Office has been notified.
