Arthur Strahan—a loving father, devoted husband, caring brother, phenomenal uncle, and humble service technician—recently suffered a sudden, life-threatening heart attack. In a single moment, everything changed for him and his family.

Thanks to the quick response of first responders and the exceptional care at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Arthur is still with us. He has already undergone a life-saving procedure, but his journey is far from over. He now faces open-heart bypass surgery, followed by a long and difficult recovery.

Arthur was the sole provider for his family. Because of his condition and the months of recovery ahead, he is unable to work, placing an immense financial burden on his household.

At home, his wife is caring for their children—homeschooling two and providing specialized care for their disabled toddler—while now also supporting Arthur through his recovery. The weight of this moment is overwhelming.
