My friend's daughter was in a devastating car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). In an instant, their lives changed completely. Her mother, who has always been a dedicated nurse and caregiver to others, made the difficult decision to leave her job so she could provide the full-time care her daughter now needs.

Since the accident, they have faced countless challenges—emotionally, physically, and financially. Navigating the healthcare system and trying to access government support has been overwhelming and discouraging. Despit her mother’s tireless efforts, they are still struggling to get the help they need. The mounting medical bills, ongoing physical therapy, and daily living expenses have become a heavy burden, especially as the holidays approach.

I am starting this fundraiser because my friend is too proud to ask for help herself, but I know how much she and her daughter need our support right now. She is one of the most hardworking, kind, and lovely people I know, and I hope that together we can make her life a little bit easier during this incredibly difficult time.
