The Harris Family just had a beautiful baby girl named Faith! They are overjoyed with the gift of her precious life, and Julia and Todd have both said that they are so thankful God chose them to be her parents!

One thing that has presented them with unique challenges is that Faith was diagnosed with a genetic condition that doctors have continually said is “incompatible with life.” Before Faith was born, the doctors said if somehow Faith made it until 40 weeks alive and was born, it would be a miracle if she lived longer than a few days after birth before dying… well, turns out God is still in the business of miracles! Faith is alive and more than a week old now! The Harris family is praising God for each day she has life!

Julia and Todd are preparing to be discharged from the NICU soon. Upon discharge, Faith will be receiving her extensive care from home which will come with a lot of expenses. Whether it be purchasing everything for preemie babies to miscellaneous medical supplies not given through insurance, donating funds is just one of the many ways we can help Julia and Todd as they care for Faith.

To support Faith’s transition from the NICU to full-time care at home, the Harris family needs to purchase a variety of essential items. While they are fortunate to have insurance, the ongoing costs of maintaining Faith’s care continue to add up quickly. The financial burden of hospital bills and long-term care can feel overwhelming, but with the support of a caring community, we can make a meaningful difference for their family.
