Support for Ezra in Memory of Courtney Comb Arias

It is great with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Courtney Combs Arias. Courtney passed early Sunday, March 21, 2021, from pneumonia. She leaves behind her mother, Sandra Russell,  her 3-year old son Ezra, and countless friends and loved ones who will grieve this tremendous loss. A joyful spirit, Courtney was known to bring a smile or laugh (often both) to anyone’s face. Her friendly and loving spirit lent her to become actively involved in many communities, especially those of her church, workplace, and Eritrean community. Though her time on Earth was short, Courtney made a lasting impact as an educator for over 10 years, teaching Spanish to Houston youth.

Courtney was so many things to many: friend, sister, daughter, teacher, supporter. Her most important and cherished role, however, was mom to Ezra. We are asking for funds to support the raising of Ezra and ensure all of Courtney’s hopes and wishes for him are fulfilled. We also ask for prayers for Ezra as he understands and grieves this unimaginable loss.
