I am raising funds to legally evict my cousin, Caleb, from my household. After letting him come stay after the death of his parents, he has turned my house into a dangerous situation.

I am currently in fear of my life from him, in fear of my pets being hurt, and hurting my partner that lives with us. I have filed a Personal Protection Order to help in protecting my safety. I have had to call the cops several times to help maintain order and seek temporary relief in getting him removed for a few hours from the house to have a break from being screamed and yelled at. I have both video evidence and text messages of him verbally assaulting me in my house. However, this is a civil matter of the law to get him evicted. The cops have responded to calls to come to the house but offer little in matter of safety for me, my partner, and pets. I worry about coming home to my pets injured and stuff gone.

I am trying to get him and his stuff permanently removed from the house for my safety. However, I am not able to afford the cost alone given that he allowed my pet to be injured and require funds to go towards surgery for that pet.

Funds will be used towards an eviction lawyer to navigate the process and serve as a contact between us if the PPO is set in place.
