Evelyn has always been a light in the lives of many whom she's come in contact with. Even with battling her Leukemia, she exemplified a strong urge to radiate positivity and happiness wherever she was. She accomplished what she set out to do and graduated at Vassar College, Majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior with a Minor in Sociology. She was readmitted to the hospital with immediate need for brain surgery. 4 surgeries were done to address her brain bleed and was well on her way to recovery. She was ready to come home after going through her rehab process to get her motion and speech fully back, but she suffered a set back and had to get readmitted to MSK to address yet another brain bleed.
A daughter, a sister, a loved one by many.
Unfortunately, she passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 3:50am. We have been going day by day, understanding how to cope with the pain and her absence. But even though she isn't here in the physical, we know she is still with us in spirit. The unwavering support from friends, family, all of Evelyn's loved ones has been appreciated and does not go unnoticed.
We have set this Go Fund Me up to help cover Evelyn's funeral arrangements and to provide immediate support for my family who has been facing this incredibly difficult time. Any and all donations, no matter the amount, will greatly help and ease the financial burden during this time.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Evelyn and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, support and love as we honor Evelyn's life and continue to remember her as she was. A loving, innocent, beautiful soul.
We love you so much Evelyn.
