Support for Evelyn Collazo's Memorial

Dear friends and family

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved, Evelyn Collazo, after a long and courageous battle with meningioma-a slow-growing, benign tumor that develops from the meningeal cells surrounding the optic nerve. For years, she faced unimaginable challenges with unwavering faith, grace, and a joy that could only come from a deep love for the Lord.

Evelyn was more than a sister, wife, mother, and friend—she was a radiant light in the lives of everyone she touched. A woman of deep conviction and unshakable faith, she led many to Christ through her passion and authenticity. Her love for God was evident in everything she did, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, her church, and her community.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 29 years, George, who lovingly cared for her—especially over the last two years as she became bedridden—and their two beautiful children, Elijah and Ciara. Now, in the wake of this heartbreaking loss, George and the kids face an overwhelming emotional and financial burden.

We are raising funds to help cover:

1. Funeral and memorial expenses

2. Outstanding medical bills

3. Immediate support and care for George who has lost his job and needs all of the help he can get covering these costs as he grieves.
