I met Thomas and Eve Carter back in 2015 and over the years became good friends.

Thomas and Eve shared 16 years of marriage, and for the last 10 years, Thomas faced ongoing health challenges concerning his heart that kept him in and out of the hospital.

My husband and I had the privilege of staying in their home for extended periods and Eve always made sure we felt welcome and cared for. When Miss Eve cooks, it's like a Thanksgiving feast no matter the occasion.

Her kindness and generosity have touched so many lives and now she finds herself in need of the same compassion she has shown to others over the years.

March 1, 2026, shortly after celebrating his 77th birthday, Thomas passed away, leaving Eve not only grieving but also facing significant financial hardship.

Anyone who knows Eve knows how devoted she was as a caretaker. She managed their home, prepared meals, and tended to Thomas’s every need with unwavering love and faithfulness.

The mounting medical bills from these years have taken a heavy toll on their finances that are now on Eve's shoulders.
