In Remembrance of Ethan (Ebay) Taylor

Donation protected
Our hearts are heavy due to the untimely passing of our beloved 22 years old son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Although we can't comprehend why this has occured, we are grateful to God for the love, prayers, and support of so many people.

We are deeply touched for the outpouring of love and prayers throughout his cancer journey. Many have offered support during this difficult time. We appreciate you and thank you for loving our family and being a part of Ethan’s life. We will make a donation to an ACC research fund in his name.

Ethan Bryce Taylor, better known as Ebay, born November 5, 2003, was a bright light from the very beginning. The cherished son of Kevin and Christina Taylor, beloved little brother to Jalen, and proud protector of his sister Arianna, Ethan filled every room with sunshine, laughter, and love.

From the moment he could reach the kitchen counter, Ethan was the family’s “Little Chef,” always eager to cook, serve, and care for others. His love for sports was just as strong—he played soccer, baseball, basketball, and especially football, where he excelled as a center for Oswego East High School and cherished the bond with his teammates.

After graduating, Ethan pursued Construction Project Management, attending College of DuPage before enrolling at Illinois State University. One week before classes began, he was diagnosed with a rare cancer, Adrenal Cortisol Carcinoma. Over 16 courageous months, through surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation, Ethan never complained. He continued cooking, smiling, attending classes and lifting others up, even in his hardest moments.

Ethan was built different. He used to say it jokingly, but it always felt true. Whenever we asked how he could do something that amazed us—like playing a freezing-cold football game without wearing a shirt under his jersey. It was also true when he would know exactly what to say or do in a tough moment. Being that he was Built Different, he was able to say goodbye to so many he loved. Ethan gained his wings on December 2, 2025, surrounded by love, with his family by his side.

Ethan touched countless lives with his kindness, humor, and undeniable warmth. He leaves behind his loving parents, Kevin and Christina; his brother Jalen; his sister Arianna; his extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and so many beloved cousins; and many teammates and friends who became family. He was preceded in death by his twin brothers, Logan and Savion, and several other loved family members.

Ethan Bryce “Ebay” Taylor will forever be remembered as our sunshine—brilliant, warm, and unforgettable.

A visitation will be held on January 3, 2026, starting at 1pm with a short celebration of life service at 5pm. Both will be held at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville IL 60564.
