I’m setting up this fundraiser to help support someone I care deeply about during a very challenging time. This is not something he asked for, and it’s not something he’s comfortable with. He values privacy, independence, and handling his own responsibilities. Unfortunately, his current circumstances have made additional support necessary.

He has been diagnosed with stage 3 liver cancer. Out of respect for him, I won’t share personal or medical details beyond that. What can be shared is that this diagnosis has significantly affected his ability to work consistently and manage everyday expenses on his own.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help cover practical, unavoidable costs that have arisen as a result of his illness. These include travel related to medical care, supplementing lost or reduced income, and helping ensure he can remain as comfortable as possible while focusing on treatment and recovery. As is often the case with serious medical conditions, there are financial gaps that insurance and savings do not fully cover.

This fundraiser is not intended to provide excess or long-term financial support. It is meant to offer short-term stability and relieve some of the immediate financial pressure that comes with serious illness. The goal is to allow him to focus on his health and day-to-day needs without constant concern over basic expenses.

Any funds raised will be used carefully and responsibly for these specific purposes. This effort is about covering essentials, maintaining dignity, and providing support during a period of uncertainty, not about asking for sympathy or charity.
