Hello,

I was diagnosed with Long COVID in August 2021 and dysautonomia in January 2022. I have been disabled for over four years with no income. I have lost basically everything.

I decided to create this fundraiser because I lost my financial support and truly need the help. It is almost impossible to survive this many years without any income.

I previously had a dental fundraiser where I raised about half of what I needed to cover the cost of my emergency root canal. I still have to pay off the remaining balance before I can get the second root canal that I need. (This doesn’t include the bills and expenses that have accumulated over the past four years.)

I have lost my previous financial support system due to a personal matter, and they are no longer able to help me. I have had ZERO income for over four years. ZERO.

I absolutely cannot work. I have tried multiple times because I would much rather be working if I were physically able.

Most Long COVID patients have at least one source of financial support. Unfortunately, I do not.

I have virtually no access to specialized healthcare. I have had no MRI, no MRA, and only one CT scan in the emergency room, which provided no answers. A family friend paid out of pocket for a transcranial Doppler (TCD) study, but they are no longer able to financially support me.

I am still waiting on my disability case and may be at least another year away from receiving any benefits.

Before becoming ill, I developed strong scientific research and pattern recognition skills, and I have used those abilities to help educate and advocate for the Long COVID community despite my own illness.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will help me pay for essential medical care, dental treatment, and basic living expenses while I continue waiting for disability benefits.
