It is with a heavy heart I share the loss of a beloved Mother, Wife, and Friend Oliva Cruz Hernandez On behalf of her daughter, Esmeralda Meza, please read this message:

"Today is one of the hardest days of my life. My momma went home to be with the Lord, where there is no more pain, no more suffering. She fought till her last breath. My heart is broken because I won’t be able to hear her voice, her advice, her laughs, but I praise God that I know she is now home resting.

Thank you all for your prayers, calls, and texts. I know God answered, maybe not the way I would have wanted to, but His plans are better than ours, even if it hurts because we are never ready to let go.

Rest in peace, momma. I love you so much till we see each other again."

As they grieve this tremendous loss, Esmeralda and her family are facing the unexpected costs of funeral and memorial services. They want to honor her mom’s memory and give her the farewell she deserves.
