My brother Ernest Leyva was an Army veteran, a loving father, and someone who always put others before himself. He was incredibly sweet and caring with everyone he met, and his love for his daughter and pets was truly special. Our family has always admired his strength and kindness, and he touched the lives of so many people around him.

Recently, Ernest passed away from cancer. During his illness, my niece put her life on hold and stopped working so she could care for her dad full-time. This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family, both emotionally and financially. We want to honor Ernest’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves, but the costs of funeral services and everyday bills have become overwhelming.
