With aching hearts, we share the sudden and devastating loss of our beloved Erin; a devoted wife to Charlie, loving mother of Emily, Charlie and Robby, cherished sister, aunt, and treasured friend. Erin was the kind of person whose love was felt deeply by everyone around her. She was selfless, nurturing, and full of quiet magic...the kind of everyday wonder that leaves the world better than it found it; a world filled with bright colors, usually some rhinestones, and almost always pickles.

If you knew Erin, you knew kindness. She was always thinking of others, constantly finding small ways to show love...whether it was showing up with thoughtful gifts or treats, sharing a thrift store find that made her think of you, trying out her latest dip recipe (especially if it involved pickles or olives), or simply making sure you knew you were seen and cared for.

If you knew Erin, you knew love and devotion. Erin poured her heart into her family. Her spirit was joyful, fun, and generous and she had a beautiful way of making others feel at home in her presence. Erin was a true giver; of time, of energy, of love. Whether cheering from the sidelines as a baseball mom, helping with bobby pins and rhinestones backstage as a dance mom, or enhancing family get-togethers with silly games and prizes, Erin’s warmth, fun and thoughtfulness were constant and unwavering.

If you knew Erin, you knew a world of imagination. She carried with her a deep sense of magic and wonder. A lifelong Harry Potter fan, Erin found comfort and truth in its messages of love, loss, looking for light even in the darkest of times and the enduring power of connection. In the much loved world, love never truly dies...“The ones who love us never really leave us.” We hold tightly to that truth now, in the space she leaves behind.

If you knew Erin, you knew a love of all things 80's and now considered "vintage". Erin lived through the message shared by a small green frog with a banjo; “Rainbow Connection” held great meaning for her...a gentle, hopeful tune about lovers, dreamers, believers, and the unshakable sense that there’s something beautiful waiting just beyond what we can see. That was Erin. She believed in magic and found immeasurable joy in creating it...in small gestures, laughter, the connection, joy in family traditions, in the love she gave so freely.

This GoFundMe was initially started to help Charlie while Erin was in the hospital and unable to work; now we are having to switch that focus to helping Charlie and the kids as they figure out how to face a future that no one was anticipating. We want to help ease the burden of final expenses and provide a cushion for the family as they begin to navigate life without her.

We understand that many of you had already graciously contributed to help Erin during her illness, and we can’t thank you enough. As we shift the focus of this campaign, we ask that if you are able, please consider continuing your support to help Erin’s family through this next chapter.

We remain deeply grateful for your love, your prayers, and your support; it means more than words can express. If you are able to donate or share this campaign, we are so deeply grateful. This is our chance to give back to someone who gave so much of herself to everyone else; to carry forward the love she showed us, and to keep that light shining in the lives of her family.

Erin’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and connection; much like a rainbow that brightens the sky after a storm, reminding us that even in the darkest of times, there’s beauty and hope just beyond the clouds. As we navigate life without her, we hold onto the magic she left behind, the warmth she shared, and the way she made us feel seen and cherished.

In the words of Albus Dumbledore, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” Erin was that light. She showed us how to find the joy in the ordinary, how to nurture love, and how to carry a piece of that light with us, no matter where life takes us.

"Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection...the lovers, the dreamers and me"
