I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friends, Erik, his wife, and their four wonderful kids, who are facing an incredibly tough time. Recently, Erik's wife lost her job, and just as they were adjusting to that change, she was diagnosed with cancer after a routine mammogram. What started as a standard checkup quickly turned into a whirlwind of doctor’s appointments, tests, and difficult decisions. She is scheduled for a lumpectomy on December 3rd, and her health benefits will end just days later, on the 12th. With four children at home, the uncertainty and stress have been overwhelming for their family.

Erik has just started a new job, and while they are doing everything they can to keep things afloat, the combination of lost income and mounting medical bills is daunting. They are now facing the reality of not being able to cover their mortgage, regular household expenses, and the costs of treatment and recovery. The thought of not being able to provide stability for their children during this time is incredibly hard for them.
