Hello beloved family and friends of the Abbott/Vaughns’ vast community.

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Erika Abbott.

There are no words to describe the pain and grief of the loss of our mother, sister, cousin and friend. She was a shining light in all of our lives and carried a spirit of happiness wherever she was. Anyone who was blessed to know Erika knows that she was the ribbon of joy that wove so many tapestries of lives together. Her infectious laughter will be missed forever.

Because this loss was so sudden and unexpected, we are coming to her community of family and friends to ask for support so that she can be laid to rest properly. She is leaving behind four children and one brand-new grand daughter. As the matriarch of her family, her children are in dire need of our support. 100% of the funds raised will go to her daughters to cover immediate funeral costs and the essentials needed for the final celebration of Erika’s life.
