My brother-in-law Eric and his family are facing an incredibly difficult time. Recently, he began experiencing severe headaches and nausea. After multiple blood tests came back normal, he was finally taken to the emergency room, where a CAT scan revealed a large malignant tumor. The doctors believe it has metastasized from the colon, making the situation even more urgent and overwhelming for the whole family. Eric was for many years a single parent to his beautiful daughter Ashlee. He met Roxanne and they both stepped up to raise their children Ashlee, Evan, and Lowell together.

To make matters more challenging, Eric does not have health insurance due to a recent job change. Of their three children, one is still at home, and they are trying to bring their son and daughter-in-law home so the family can spend precious time together. The mounting medical bills and travel expenses are creating a heavy financial burden at a time when they should be focusing on each other and his health.
