In October 2025, my husband Eric was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. Since then, our lives have been turned upside down as we navigate overwhelming doctor bills and the stress of missed work. The diagnosis came as a shock, and we have spent countless hours at appointments and in the hospital, especially as Eric prepares for his upcoming kidney removal surgery, which will be scheduled this Friday.
After his last scan, we received the difficult news that the oncologist said the cancer treatment is not working. This has been incredibly hard for us to process, and it has added to the uncertainty and urgency we feel as we move forward with the next steps in Eric’s care.
The funds raised will help us cover medical bills, living expenses, and missed wages. With so much time spent caring for Eric and managing his treatment, we’ve struggled to keep up with the hundreds of medical bills coming in. Your support will help us focus on Eric’s recovery and ease the financial burden that has come with his illness.
Any support helps. We are normally the ones that give to the community, but now we are asking for a little bit of help during this difficult time. Thank you for reading our story and considering a donation. Your kindness means the world to us.
