Feb 28 th would have been Erick’s 46th birthday, just a week after his Celebration of Life. November 5 th Erick had major spine surgery, two weeks later the hospital decided to released him to rehabilitation for his spine even though he was struggling to breathe! His daughter Raven texted me how her dad was not ready to be released.
within 24 hours of being at rehab, he was rushed back to a emergency room and admitted to ICU in critical condition . Thankfully a different hospital .
Erick fought for almost 2 1/2 months in ICU. The drs gave him one last chance and put him on the ECMO machine, & he then had to be transferred to another hospital.
Erick fought so hard to live & be with his kids , Maebh, Raven, Vee, Roz, Jevon & Jesse.
watching him on the ECMO machine fighting for his life was heartbreaking. , his family is completely devastated. We all prayed for a different outcome, but January 25 th Erick passed away. Unfortunately Erick had no
life insurance to help his family ,
so any help would be greatly appreciated.
From retrieving Erick’s vehicle, which was over $2000, memorial costs, car expenses, ect ect ect
its been a difficult few months &
the next few months will be even harder for his family. .
- Eventually we would like to get a memorial stone for Erick .The money is just not there at this time for that.
