Update with Stage 4 glioblastoma: Eric has been having a difficult time with chemotherapy and radiation. He is taking two chemo drugs that are making him very confused, weak, nauseous, and disoriented, and he is sleeping a lot. As of his last scan, the tumor has shown growth, and in just a few weeks he has lost mobility and motor function. The doctors and staff at Sloan Kettering have been great. Dr. Boyce and Dr. Kyung have gone above and beyond to make the best treatment plan for him. Trips to Sloan Kettering in Manhattan are draining and exhausting. We believe in the power of prayer and healing. ❤️
Eric Miller, my childhood best friend’s husband, was diagnosed with a Stage IV glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, on December 5th. This news has been devastating for everyone who knows and loves Eric, especially his family and close friends. He is currently receiving treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, and surgery is scheduled for next week. The road ahead is uncertain and challenging, but Eric and his family are facing it with courage and hope, surrounded by the love of their community.
As Eric undergoes treatment, the Miller family is facing significant expenses that go beyond what insurance will cover. Donations will help with travel to New York, food, lodging, and medical bills, easing the financial burden so Eric and his loved ones can focus on his recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in their lives during this incredibly difficult time.
We are asking our community to come together to support the Miller family. If you are unable to give financially, we humbly ask for your prayers, which are just as meaningful. Thank you all for your love, support, and kindness. Your generosity and encouragement mean the world to Eric and his family as they navigate this journey.
