I am Abraham Acuna, a friend of Eric Lopez for 20+ years. On February 1st Eric had an accident at work and he’s severely injured. He is currently in the SICU in Santa Barbara recovering from a head injury and numerous bone fractures throughout his body and face. He has showed slow and steady progress so far and I pray that it continues that way. I’ve created this GoFundMe page for all who have reached out to share their care and concern for our brother Eric Lopez. All funds collected will be given to Eric‘s wife, Cristina to help with expenses related to his rehabilitation. On behalf of his wife, I thank you for all your prayers, love and support for Eric and his family. 

I plan on either writing Cristina a check or Zelleing the full amount to her asap. 
Purpose of funds:
Eric Lopez’s suffered traumatic injuries to his brain and body. He will require an extended recovery period. His rehabilitation will include inpatient treatment for an estimated 3 months and continue with long term outpatient treatment for up to 1 year.  Eric will not return to work until he has fully recovered. The funds collected will help offset the overall financial impact to the Lopez family resulting from Eric’s unemployment, medical expenses and continued healthcare.
