It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Boyd, lovingly known as “EB.” Eric was well liked by many in the Big Rapids Community and will be remembered for being a genuinely good person to many. He touched the lives of countless people, and his presence will be missed by all who knew him.

We are seeking to raise at least $5000 to help support his mother, Ruth Ellis, with the costs associated with Eric’s funeral and final arrangements. Any contribution, no matter the size will go directly towards these expenses and will help ease the burden on his family during this incredibly difficult time.

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring love, support, and generosity shown so far. Funeral arrangements will be announced soon.
