It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our sister, Diane Bonifacio Herman—known lovingly as Dee. Dee passed away suddenly on January 5, 2026, leaving behind a family who adored her and a world that feels much dimmer without her. At only 53 years old, her life was taken far too soon.

Over the past months, Dee endured health challenges and spent days in and out of the hospital. Despite the pain she faced, Dee remained incredibly strong and selfless. She worried more about her family than herself and never stopped being a loving wife, a devoted mother, a caring sister and daughter.

Dee leaves behind her husband and partner in life, Eric and their 16-year-old daughter, Emily, who was truly her greatest joy. Dee was a proud, loving mom who cherished every moment with Emily. Eric and Emily are now facing not only the overwhelming grief of losing a wife and mother, but also the unexpected financial responsibilities that come with such a sudden loss.

We are asking for help to support Eric and Emily during this difficult time. Donations will help with funeral and memorial expenses, outstanding medical bills, and everyday living needs, allowing them the space to grieve and begin healing without the added weight of financial stress.
