My mother has always been the one to care for others, working tirelessly as a Registered Nurse in the ER. Recently, her world was turned upside down when she was a passenger in a rollover vehicle accident, resulting in both of her arms being broken. She is a very caring woman and never asks for help unless its absolutely necessary. Now, instead of helping patients, she finds herself in need of help and support from her community.

With her injuries, my mom is unable to work and is currently on leave without pay. Doctors estimate she will be out of work for 3 to 4 months, possibly longer due to the extent of her injuries. The sudden loss of income, combined with mounting medical bills, has put a tremendous strain on her. She also faces daily challenges at home, from caring for her beloved pets to managing basic household tasks—things she can no longer do on her own.

We are reaching out to ask for help covering her medical expenses, living costs, and the support needed to hire people for pet care and household assistance. The situation is difficult to navigate, due to many uncertainties, including rehab and physical therapy. We appreciate any assistance, and it benefits our whole family.
