The past couple months have been an awakening to reality of how my physical and mental health have been suffering and the importance of health and trusting Gods plan/ purpose for my life! I have been open about my depression and anxiety on social media but now im ready to let my other family and friends know about my journey that started on May 30th!

I had what they call a series of tonic-clonic seizures and was hospitalized. Every test I have taken (EEG, multiple MRIs, blood test, and multiple CT scans) have came back abnormal. I have seen many doctors throughout this journey primary care doctors, neurologist, epilepsy specialists and neurosurgeons. The first reality check I was given was being diagnosed with epilepsy! With that I am no longer able to drive and have been on disability from work and was taken out of my masters degree to focus on my health.

But the most concerning is that my MRIs showed I have a brain tumor/mass and a lesion in my temporal lobe! Im in the process of planning a surgery for a biopsy of the mass! To know if the tumor is cancerous or not!! Im asking my family and friends to please pray for me. This journey is going to be long but I know I can get through anything with the support of my family and friends. This journey so far has been one of the most scariest things I ever had to go through. But God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers!
