I am raising funds for my mother’s end of life arrangements. My mother was the most beautiful person I know, inside and out. She was the epitome of what love is. She made me who I am today. She wasn’t just my mom, she was my best friend. She endured so much pain in her life but would drop everything and put her own problems aside if anyone ever needed her. Her love of her family, miniature things, the stars, and the beach are what helped her through every painstaking day. I know that you’re supposed to outlive your parents, I just didn’t think my mom would be ripped from us so soon. She will never attend my wedding, or my brother’s. She’ll never get to see her grandchildren grow up. She will never laugh her beautiful laugh again. She will never sing “Stacy’s Mom” with me in the car again. She’ll never get to see all the beautiful milestones in her children’s lives. My father will never have her touch again. He no longer has his partner, his shoulder to lean and cry on. I’m struggling to understand that she is no longer here. I can’t call her anymore. I can’t text her and ask her how she’s feeling today. She put up a good fight, she was strong and stubborn, I suppose that’s where I got it from. I really can’t believe that this has happened, but my family needs help with her cremation service and her celebration of life. Anything helps, and we are forever grateful.
