Emmett has gone to be with Jesus but he knew so much love in the few short days he was here with us. Thank you everyone for the prayers and donations. They are still so very important! Aliha, Noah, the girls and their families will need us more than ever.

A note from Aliha:

On July 24th, our son Emmett Rhodes was born under circumstances we never could have imagined. I went into labor and delivery after noticing decreased fetal movement, and after hours of monitoring, I was rushed in for an emergency C-section. In those terrifying moments, I watched Emmett’s heart stop. Thanks to the incredible hospital team, our baby was brought back to us, but he was without oxygen for about 25 minutes and now faces serious complications. He needs to be flown to Denver for specialized medical care.

My partner Noah and I, along with our other two little ones, are doing everything we can to support Emmett. We were completely blindsided by this situation and are heartbroken, but we know we need to be strong for our family. The coming days will bring travel, hotel stays, and meals away from home, as well as time away from work and mounting medical bills. We are not in a position financially to manage these unexpected expenses on our own, and we are reaching out for help from those who feel led to support us.
