Support for Emmett: Double Lung Transplant in Boston

If you know Sara at all, you know that she will be mortified when she sees I made this, but I have to do something. Sara and Sai are two of the most giving, caring people I've ever met, who would do anything for anyone. They have two awesome boys, Wyatt and Brody, who they are amazing, loving parents to.

Their newest son, Emmett; was born on May 26, and has been in the NICU since birth, first in Bangor, and now in Boston. Sara and Sai are both staying in Boston with him, and have no idea how long he will have to be there, as he will make progress, and then be hit with another roadblock.

Sara and i were hoping to post when we bring him home but looks like it will be a while before that happens. Emmett Lowell Adams was born May 26. Shortly after birth he couldn't keep his o2 levels up and was flown to Bangor NICU. During his 2 weeks in Bangor he got a hole in both lungs and needed chest tubes to remove the air. He wasn't showing signs of large improvements so the doctors decided to ship him to Boston children's hospital NICU. He was doing well till late today his lung suddenly collapsed again with another hole. We are waiting for test results to come back to see why this is happening. Everything else with him is fine just very sick lungs. Thanks everyone for the prayers and good thoughts he definitely needs them all. Ill try to keep everyone updated."
