The family of Tyler and Lexi Barnes is raising funds for Tyler Barnes, Lexi Barnes, and their newborn baby, Emmett Nicklas. Their family’s world changed suddenly when Lexi Barnes went into preterm labor at just 27 weeks. Baby Emmett Nicklas was born far earlier than expected and was immediately life flighted to a hospital a couple hours from their home which specializes in caring for preterm babies to receive the life saving care he needs. Since then, Emmett has begun what will be an extended stay in the NICU, where he is being closely monitored and cared for every day.

This has been an incredibly emotional and overwhelming time for Lexi and Tyler as they adjust to the unexpected challenges of having a baby in intensive care. Instead of spending these first days at home bonding with their newborn, they are facing long days at the hospital, uncertainty, and the stress that comes with a prolonged NICU journey. On top of the emotional toll, there are also growing medical expenses and the financial strain of taking time away from work so they can be present with Emmett and support him through every step of his care.
