Emma (also known as Emmy) is a sweet 6-year-old girl who is currently battling ALK or negative anaplastic large cell lymphoma. She was diagnosed just two days before Christmas, when her family thought she only had an abscess. Unfortunately, the news was much more serious, and since then, Emma has been undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy. The toll this has taken on her small body has been immense, with each round of chemo ending in hospitalizations and even a recent stay in the ICU.

Her parents, Jessie and Josh, are doing everything they can to be by Emma’s side while also keeping their home running, working, and caring for their other daughter. Every treatment means a three-hour drive each way to Levine’s in Charlotte, adding to the emotional and physical strain. The costs for travel, food, medical expenses, and daily life with their other daughter are quickly increasing, and the family is facing an overwhelming financial burden on top of everything else.

My hope is that we can come together to help ease some of this burden for Emma’s family. Anything donated will go directly toward supporting them during this incredibly difficult season.
