Emily's Fight To Recovery #fightonEmily
Donation protected

On August 3rd, Emily was rushed to LAC-USC medical center after collapsing at her home. Sadly, what was thought to be a seizure ended up being far more devastating. Doctors had discovered her brain was bleeding, Emily had suffered a Brain Aneurysm requiring her to have emergency surgery. Doctors were able to successfully stop the bleeding and clip the aneurysm during surgery. Emily is currently on the road to recovering.
As Emily embarks on the fight of her life, her road to recovery will be long. Unable to attend school, Emily will be spending much of the upcoming year in an intense recovery center at Rancho Los Amigas for rehabilitation. As you can imagine, this terrible event has turned their world upside down like most of us, their health insurance will cover some of the expenses, but this will be a long battle that will affect Emily and her family.
As one of Emily’s good friend and classmate from Nativity Catholic school I wanted to start this fundraiser to help reduce the burden on Emily’s parents, so that the family can focus all their efforts on Emily’s treatment, healing and spending valuable time together.
Anyone who knows Emily and her family they are incredibly giving when it comes to their time, love, and energy for anyone in need. If we can help relieve some of the day to day financial pressures that will mount during this time of critical care, we too will have done our part to support them in a time of sincere need.
I know they will appreciate anything to help, if you are unable to help financially, please keep Emily in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you #fightonEmily
