In loving memory of a devoted father, husband, and friend.

On his way home from work at Luke Air Force Base yesterday, Lieutenant Colonel Salvatore Carpitano was killed in a collision, leaving behind his wife, Emilia, and daughter, Sofia (6 years old), who were the center of his world. His family was his greatest pride, and everything he did was for love of them. Their world has been shattered at the sudden loss. No one is prepared to not be able to say goodbye.

Born in Sicily, Salvatore was an accomplished pilot and instructor who dedicated his life to serving his country and caring for his family. We are raising money for his wife and daughter to support them during this unimaginable loss and to help ease their financial burdens that can come with such a tragedy and to help move them to be with family back in Italy. All funds raised will be directed to Emilia.
