I'm Kyrsten Smith, and I am a student at Willamette University. I am trying to find a way to get my dog x-rays. Her name is Ellie, and she was a rescue dog I got 6 years ago. At first, she was very shy and scared of the littlest things; we think her previous home was not the best. Since I've had her, I have tried my best to give her the best life possible, and I feel like the only way to do that is to get the x-rays and try to prevent her from living with constant pain and limping for the rest of her life. Her vet says that her cruciate ligament, which is similar to an ACL, might be torn and that she needs to have x-rays done to verify that. If there is damage to her ligament, the only way to fix it would be through surgery. I would appreciate any help that I can get so I can make sure that she gets better!
