Ellie Bramlett is a bright and joyful 9-year-old who has always been full of energy, a passionate dancer, and a huge Disney fan. Just a couple of weeks ago, Ellie was thriving and enjoying her childhood to the fullest. Suddenly, she began experiencing facial drooping, and after a whirlwind of doctor visits and tests, her family received the devastating news: Ellie has been diagnosed with an inoperable DIPG brain tumor. Initially, Ellie was given an eight month prognosis, which was heartbreaking for her family and loved ones.
There is now a new sense of hope. Ellie has been accepted by St. Jude for further diagnostic testing and treatment, and her family is extremely hopeful that this opportunity will change the outcome for Ellie. Her parents, Jessica and Matt, are now facing the enormous challenge of supporting Ellie through her treatment while managing the emotional and financial strain that comes with it. They are taking time off work to be by Ellie's side in Memphis, which means lost income on top of mounting medical bills, travel expenses, and daily living costs.
We are reaching out to our community for help. Your support will go directly toward previous medical treatment costs, meals, travel, and bills, allowing Jessica and Matt to focus on what matters most—being there for Ellie. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for this loving family. Please consider donating or sharing Ellie's story to help them through this incredibly difficult time.
If you know Ellie, please do not mention this to her. If you have a child that is friends with Ellie or goes to school with Ellie, we ask that you not share this news with your child at this time. Ellie is having a difficult time coping with her current condition and she doesn't want any of her friends knowing about it.
