On February 20, 2026, Brent Kaiser passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his two daughters, Ella and Madison. Ella is currently in college, and Madison is in high school. At just 19 and 16 years old, they are navigating the sudden loss of their father far too soon.
Brent dedicated 27 years to wildland fire service with the U.S. Forest Service on the Stanislaus National Forest. He spent four years on the Stanislaus Hotshots and later served as Captain of the Summit Fire Use Module before becoming a Battalion Chief, mentoring engines, patrols, and a handcrew. Even after retirement, he continued serving as a Safety Officer on his incident management team. More than anything, Brent was a devoted father. He loved hiking with his girls to Bull Lake, supporting them in basketball, volleyball, and softball, cheering them on at games, and decorating the house with Christmas lights and Halloween displays. His daughters were the center of his world.
This fundraiser has been created with the full support of Brent’s family to help cover funeral and legal expenses and to provide stability and support for Ella and Madison during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for honoring Brent’s life and supporting the two people he loved most.
